Aims to Keep Racks Cool

As seen in Commercial Integrator

ATM's Cool-rack features four fans which turn on and off when AV equipment racks reach preset temperatures.

Active Thermal Management (ATM) announces its Cool-rack cooling system for AV equipment racks.

The Cool-rack is two rack units (RUs) high and equipped with four 80mm fans. It's designed to move 120 CFM in free air.

Cool-rack is set up to turn its fans on at 90 degrees and off at 85 degrees, as indicated on its front panel temperature display. Both temperatures can be changed using the front panel push buttons.

Temperature is sensed by a remote probe, which can be positioned to monitor air temperature within the rack or at a specific piece of equipment.

ATM is shipping Cool-rack with a suggested retail price of $375.
