Vanco International announces two new extenders to their comprehensive lineup of pro AV distribution products. Modeled from the award-winning Evolution™ EVEXHDB2 extender - the EVEX4K50, available via the Evolution brand, and HDBT4K50, part of the Vanco® line, offer significant value for distributors and dealers looking to extend 4K and HDR in both residential and commercial installations. Both extenders feature PoC technology, and offer CEC support, plus bi-directional IR control. For installations that demand a hardwired connection, the EVEX4K50 adds RS232 control and ships with two RS232 cables. Compared to standard HDMI cables, the HDBT4K50 and EVEX4K50 are able to distribute high-definition signals across much greater distances. The transmission range extends 4Kx2K@60Hz, 4:4:4 with HDR up to 164ft/50m over a single Cat5e/6 cable and 1080p@60Hz up to 230ft/70m - providing virtually lossless compression that retains high-end audio and video quality right to the source.
