Russound is proud to announce the launch of Amazon Alexa voice control for all of its core, internet-connected products.

By pairing with any Alexa device such as an Echo or a Dot, simple, intuitive voice control can now be easily added to any Russound MCA-Series or XStream-Series products.

A simple firmware update is all that is needed for any of the following Russound products to be able to integrate with Amazon Alexa.

• MCA-88 - 8 Source, 8 Zone Controller Amplifier
• MCA-88X - 8 Source, 8 Zone Controller Amplifier Streamer
• XSource - Streaming Audio Player
• XZone4 - 4 Stream, 4 Zone Audio System
• XZone70V - Streaming Mixer Amplifier

Russound's internet-connected products are designed to be compatible with the most popular control and automation systems, including voice systems like Amazon Alexa.

Alexa is the latest addition to Russound's control offering: from our popular in-wall keypads and touchscreens to the versatile MyRussound app for iOS and Android, or any of the compatible 3rd party platforms like Control4, URC, RTI, Compass Control, Fibaro, and more.
